The community of Seabury in Southern Huntington Beach, California is an ideal place to live because of its affordability and close proximity to entertainment and recreation.
Seabury is only about half a mile from the beach and does not have a Home Owners Association so there are no dues. These homes feature three to four bedrooms and were built in the late 1960’s in the popular classic ranch style. Most of the houses are single level although there are a few two story homes here as well.
There are several highly ranked schools that are provided by the public education system including S.A. Moffett Elementary School, Isaac L. Sowers Middle, and Edison High School. And the City of Huntington Beach offers several private facilities including Brethren Christian Junior and Senior School, Hebrew Academy, Liberty Christian School, and The Pegasus School.
Seabury is just steps from hiking and walking trails that lead to the beach and to the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. The Ecological Reserve features acres of wetlands and is open seven days a week with tours and live animal exhibits. Many native reptiles and birds are found here. This community is close to downtown Huntington Beach where you’ll find an array of boutiques, arts, and entertainment. Also close by is Dog Beach and the Huntington Beach Pier, one of the longest piers on the west coast, stretching from Main Street to the Pacific Ocean.
The coastal city of Huntington Beach is known as “Surfer City” because of the great swells that occur throughout the year. It also has many shopping centers like Bella Terra, the Outlets at Orange, and 5 Points Plaza which features stores and restaurants like Hashigo Sushi, Omaha Steaks, Trader Joe’s Chico’s, Pier 1 Imports, and Big 5 Sporting Goods. It also has convenience stores like The UPS Store, GNC, Bank of America, and Kahoots Pet Store.
